what kind of rubbing down paper, paint, primer, lacquer did you use on this?

Im in the UK, so if you could recommend universally available ones or links onto ebay.  Cheers!   :cheers:

The only things I used was a roll or 2 of automotive masking tape, some high temperature masking tape, and a bit of sandpaper to help smoth out any imperfections.  I got the automotive tape and sandpaper from Wal-Mart, the paint from the local parts store.

Do you have a link as to where you got the emblems. I have an "04 and lost one but I like this style better!
