I've had good times on my GS but decided recently to sell it. Today I picked up an '05 Kawasaki z750s and I love it. Its got a lot of power and a nice comfy position. As of yet I'm happy with this decision. The bike is mint with only 1400 miles and is still under warranty.

I will await Buddha to tell me that it's a crappy bike....

thanks guys

I hope this bike treats me as well as my GS did. I'm sticking to this forum though, I don't intend to do much to this bike, its pleanty fast and I like the way it looks.....plus my brother still has a GS that I do all the maintenance on.

Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Very nice! Why that over an SV if I may ask? Just wondering...

pjm204

From everything I have read about this bike it is a great bike. I rode my buddy's and liked it a lot. It seemed to have quite a bit more power than an SV but got similar gas mileage. Most people seem to get around 50mpg on this bike. I ride very conservatively so I will definitely get in the 50's. I also plan to throw in a bigger front sprocket. I also found the bike at the right price, the seller seemed like an honest person, and the bike was damn clean. There haven't really been any good SV's around here.

I was deciding between the kawi or a vstrom 650. Unfortunately for the vstrom, the one I looked at had been knocked over and was scratched up and the kawi was mint. The kawi was also 1000 less and has half the mileage.

I'll keep you all posted on how I like it. I've got 4 suzuki's in the garage so normally I am die hard zook but i liked the bike.

I almost bought a ZR7 instead of the SV.  Buuut, I love twins.

Let us know more about it as you get a chance to ride it.   :thumb:

I've only gotten to ride it for a total of 20 minutes because I can't pick it up until friday or monday. First impressions. It rides nice as hell. It flicks around like the GS easily, stops well, has power from low RPMS, never lugs.

I didn't like the seat, it slopes down and slides you into the tank. Aside from that, it seems nice.

Well I picked up the bike yesterday and rode it 250 miles. I looove it. It pulls in any gear from 2kRPM. It rides very smooth, has extra features like a gas guage/clock/2 trip odometers. The headlight is incredible when compared to the GS. I'd say the '01 did have a better seat because of the grip...this one slides me into the tank. Overall, it seems like a great bike. Of course, only time will tell.
