New GS500E owner looking for parts

I just picked up a 95 GS500E  for nothing, and after a Huge outley of 10 dollars, prior owner is Mechanically challenged...

I read several posts on here about custom fabed tails...I liked the one JamesG had created, but noted the post dates are old, is he still selling his creation? they were the best I found so far??

also any other links or info would be great..I still need a tank too, but not as dire as before

The JamesG tails are out of production. I was the last who was making them while James was overseas and have returned the molds, that was 2-3 years ago.

CowlTech has a thread in this forum on possible production of other tail/cowl options, might want to check it out.

to bad, it was a nice look..thanks for the news tho...I saw the cowl tech, didn't appeal to me..and I don't want a slip cover, I am looking for a full replacement..

will keep looking, I guess

I have still have the last tail I made. It is fiberglass, not carbon fiber. I was holding on to it for a second track bike, but will probably never build it. If you want it, I will sell it for $120 + shipping.
