Clutch cable removal.....

Um... how the #%$ do you get the clutch cable off the clip attached to the sprocket cover?

Mine wont' budge!

The cable goes down, but there is a little tab under it that blocks it. Use a tiny flat head screwdriver to bend that tab out of the way so you can pull the cable down and then get it out. Just be careful not to break anything...

good idea to get all the slack you can out of the clutch lever too... thread the cable till its tight against the lever (no threads showing).  That will give you the most slack in the line there... might help some.

Just managed to get mine out but could not get the bloody cable end back on and sit properly because of that little tab.  Thanks for the solution  :thumb:
