Sorry, no answers on the carb stuff. But, nice bike! What part of Orlando are you in I'm in the Kissimmee area. I've been seeing quite a few gs's around lately.

I work on Thursday Nights. About what time do you go? Real late or early? I go in at 2300 so one night I might drop in at 8 or 9 before work. If you'd like to meet up. Give me a PM sometime!

Not sure about the carb either, but nice bike.
Is that exhaust made for the GS, or another bike?

Is the leak recent? Could it just be a spill? Have you tried cleaning it up to help identify where the leak is coming from?

It's hard to tell, is it fuel varnish or oil-based?

+1 on cleaning it up and locating the leak...  is it visibly dripping or leaking?

there are (from my limited understanding) several places for leaks to occur.  Could be old/dirty/broken o-rings... could be some seals.  That said, it could be a petcock problem or vacuum issue letting too much fuel in and when it overflows the carbs it tries to find any way out...etc... could be lots of reasons.

I'd say, first things first, clean it up nice and watch more intently for leaks.

if you can't find a leak on the carb try checking all the hoses right from tank to carbs... make sure none are cracked and/or deteriorating.

If you still can't find it.  Replace o-rings and other such rubber in the carb.  OR your best bet is to take it to your local shop.
