I want to get some type of luggage that will allow me to still carry a passenger. I was looking at the Nelson Rigg silverstreak mini saddlbags. Does anyone know if they will interfere with the passenger pegs? If so, what are my options. I need luggage. I don't like the idea of a tank bag....and please don't say backpack, I KNOW! Thanks

Hi there,
Yes, soft bags are usually designed to fit and still allow you to carry a passenger.

I have Chase Harper Aeropac II saddlebags and an Eclipse tank bag.

Here's a link:

The Chase Harper bags are great. They fit well and securely, and they work fine when I carry a passenger.
I also bought the rain covers, because you never know when it will rain.  Usually, in fact, it rains when you don't bring the rain covers.

Here's an older photo of the bags on my bike, along with the top bag (that can't be used with a passenger!).  I no longer have the silver fairing on the bike.

For city use, I had great luck with a moped-style hard case. It bolted directly on to where the handle on the back goes, was decently secure, and allowed for a passenger (albeit, passenger did have to weigh less than 120 ... but that can be thought of as a perk too)
