my bike backfires when I try to start it... still won't start

after changing the cam chain tensioner, I can't get my bike to start.  I have checked the timing set-up with the cam chain (1,2,3) 10 times -- it's DEAD ON.  Does anyone know which ignition part might be the likely culprit?

I need to RIDE!
