What kind of wire can I use to lengthen the turn signals wires?  I've replaced the OEM ones with micro ones and the wires are about 1.5" - 2" short.

Something about the same size or bigger than what's on them now, any colour you like! If you don't have a soldering iron, the easy way would be to get some crimp connectors and make a short 'extension cord' with the appropriate connectors at each end.

Something that will handle 3.5 amps @12v.......1mm dia PVC insulated will do. Chop a length off an extension lead, solder and heatshrink will be the most reliable method.

the OEM system is 18 guage.  My aftermarket signals were the same.

got some wire from Canadian Tire (which i realise most of you dont have) but I bet NAPA or another parts store would have it.

This is one more reason I hate the damn aftermarket ones ... they always give you wire that is just a shade too short ... Like that much extra wire was gonna affect their bottom line.
Cool.
