I am trying to modify  the bandit 400 swing arm into the gs500 frame, now I have got a problem.

the bolt that hold the GS500 swinarm is about 3 mm smaller in diameter than the bandit400 swingarm, should i enlarge the hold on the frame and use the bandit400 bolt or get some to make a space to retain the gs500 bolt.

Also the mounting point is around 2 mm wider, so it need somw grinding.

Other than that all things are nearly a bolt on job, the linkage and shock is somewhat similar in size.

A crash is the result of the rider's mistake, so don't blame the bike

A rider should be able to control the bike but not controlled by the bike, becuase on the track you don't want to DNF and on the road you don't want to lose you licence

dgyver

I would make spacers... but they will either need a shoulder to retain them or make them so they are a press fit in the inner race.
Common sense in not very common.
