having a horrible experience with

ordered tires (front and rear) almost two weeks ago and they haven't even shipped yet.  they charged my credit card already too.  i tried to cancel my order, and they kindly let me know they would be happy do so, minus the 10% cancellation fee that is not mentioned anywhere on the particular URL that i ordered from (before i knew these were all the same).  i told them it wasn't on the site and they said they couldn't do anything about it.  then i tried to just cancel the rear tire (got one local, couldn't wait any longer) and they said they would still charge me the cancellation fee on the part of the order that was cancelled.  then i told them if they wanted, they could just cancel the entire order and i would dispute the charges with my CC company, and they seemed to prefer that solution than just waiving the 10% (about $8 ) on the rear tire.

i'd recommend staying away from these people.  sometimes you get what you pay for (and sometimes you don't get anything at all)

Wow, makes me glad I got mine through parts411.com

Parts 411 took forever to get the little stuff in my order but the tires and sprockets were drop-shipped directly from the manufacturers and got to me in less than a week.

Thanx for the warning and I hope it gets resolved in your favor soon...
Blah blah blah...

I admit two weeks is way to long but if you are ordering stuff online and from out of state you can't expect speedy service. That is why they offer a big discount compared to the local guy.
I personally do not order anything from anyone if I need that item in less than a month. In other words if the wear bars are showing it is to late to do mail order unless you pay for next day service.

That is way to long.  I live in Arizona and ordered tires from Chaparral Motorsports.  They were ordered on a Tuesday and I received them two days later on a Thursday (UPS Ground).  They were shipped from CA.

i dunno, i've had nothing but positive experience with ordering tires for my car from tirerack.com.  good prices.  cheap shipping and always there the next day or 2 days after i order.  and tires for my car are near impossible to find in stock anywhere locally.  i was hoping for a similar experience with motorcycle tires, but no such luck.

I was actually looking at a jacket from there but went someplace else, ordered it sunday and will see how long it takes to get here.

I ordered Tires from Ronayer.com and got them by the end of the week when I ordered on a monday night I think. Took longer to get other stuff done than getting the tires and having them mounted.
