I did the peg swap just like the wiki except I never ride 2 up so I just put rubber washers in to hold the rear pegs in place.  The increased leg room is impressively noticeable.  I also put on a set of Progrip gel grips and man are they comfy.  Since what's left of tropical storm Fay has put an end to my riding for the next few days I may have to finally tackle adding some washers to the needles and see if we can get a little more throttle response.

Lookin' good  :thumb:  How did you cut the carbon fiber material to size on the top of the fairings?  I actually bought a roll of that stuff but failed miserably at getting it to the right size lol.  I like my castrol and motul stickers for now but the CF looks so hot   Also where'd you get the flushmount blinkers?  Do you have to mod the fairing?

I placed the edge of the carbon fiber decal along the straightest side of the fairing and lined it up.  Then I applied the decal and used my fingernail to press it down against the factory decal.  After that follow the imprint with a hobby knife and its all done.  I went around the edge of mine with some silver pinstriping just to help hold it down and to give it a cleaner look.

The flushmounts came from Cycle Gear 3 years ago and where made by lockhart philips.  They require no modifications to install.

I know this has been discussed several times already but just wanted to add that progrip grips are great.  Tropical Storm Fay finally left and I got a ride to and from work today.  The extra leg room of the pegs is more comfortable and the thicker gel grips really cut down on vibrations and hand cramps.

Which hand grips did you get? I was looking at grabbing a pair of those, the longer stretches of highway going between home and school are killer on the hands.
Also, how much extra room is there with the footpegs in place? Did you have to adjust your brake pedal at all? Was also looking at those, go figure

Maybe 3/4 - 1 inch of leg room.  I got the progrip 699 but have heard that most of the gel grips they make like the 724 are good as well.  I haven't adjusted the brake pedal.  I probably should just haven't gotten around to it.  I think it just depends if you want to adjust the pedal or just adjust your footing to the new position.
