I bought a K&N High-Flow AIR FILTER but I'm selling the bike so I don't need the hassle and also don't want to do a re-jet. CAUTION: If you buy this you will need a rejet. I would return it to the store, but I special ordered it, and they don't allow returns on it. I haven't even tried to install it. It's still in it's plastic. I'm not trying to get "rid" of it so no low ballers.

Does it have the air restrictor ring that goes with it?

That filter will work without a rejet, as long as you put the round rubber restrictor in the top of it.  The lunchbox filter is the one that definitely needs the rejet.

All US GS500s will benefit from slightly larger jetting, but that SU-5589 will not make it worse.

Once I get the flashers working my bike will be up for sale on CL and Ebay as well on this website. I must admit that the turn signals have really got me frustrated. I really lost my desire to ride the bike anymore. It doesn't feel the same. It feels as though it's missing something, and it is. I may change my mind when they are working and I'm not so depressed. It's so frustrating.

If nobody wants this air filter it will be going on ebay in the morning.

$60 is pretty much right on the money, I paid $58.xx for mine from DennisKirk a week ago. Got free shipping since I bought other stuff from them, totalling over $100.00.
