I didn't think they would let us have them, but there it is in black and white.

Complete with undertail exhaust and centerstand.

Well, about time!  Thank God!  That may very well be my next bike!

Check out the Yamaha site.  They have tons of pics of it in all the colors under their "photo gallery" section.

Those bastards! I was just commenting to a friend that I've been seeing a lot of Yamahas and like them but the only one I really wanted was the FZ6, now they have to go and HAVE IT!

Grr!!! I really can't afford another motorcycle, but who knows once I have my T/A and SVX sold . . .

Might be a next bike for me. I think it 'll work well as a commuter bike and it is pretty fast at the same time. It looks a bit like the Fazer 1000 from last year. In Europe this series is named " Fazer"  instead of FZ, The model line exists for a few years in Europe,

older type Fazer 600:

Fazer 1000:

The Fazer 1000 uses a detuned R1 engine with more torque.

Anyone know what the MSRP will probably be?

Their site has no price up yet.  The bike is supposed to be available in the US in December.

By the way, how about a 14k redline?

JamesG

Price is supposed to be compeditive with the SVS, so figure low $6K.  About the only thing that is keeping me from running to the dealer to pluck down a deposit is that is has cheapo non adjustable suspension like an SV too.  Not that big a deal but I've gotten spoiled by my YZF.

Suzuki is supposedly retaliating with a total redesign of the bandits, using either the '96+ gen. GSXR engine or perhaps the new one (!).
I'm definately going to the Atlanta bike show in January this year to kick tires!!!!

That has to be my favorite underseat exhaust.

This will make my next bike purchase more difficult...... to SV or not to SV.. that is the question!
