Installed New Flushmounts & Integrated

I installed both last weekend and had a lot of problems. First of all they were all flashing at once. So I added resistors and that didn't work. So I added smaller ones and then accidentally connected two positive wires and the flasher blew up. So I ordered a new plug and play one that didn't require resistors but it did the same thing. So I Connected some more resistors and it did the same  thing. I'm really confused. Anyone know what resistors I should use? I have 1,000ohm on each turn signal and it's not enough.

Any help will be like jesus to me.
