So i just got back on a my first road trip. went from seattle all the way down to pocatello, ID. took me about 10 or 11 hrs. Only stopped about 3 times other than gas breaks. Something to take a note on, bring cash and worn your bank account that your filling up every 100 miles or they will freeze your bank account. they froze mine 25 miles away from boise ID and i had only 20 bucks on me. I rolled up to pocatello on fumes i swear. had like 15 miles in my tank. Also another rider along the way told me that if you buy a pair of actual bicycle pants ( yes the ones every dares not to be seen in cause they are so tight fighting and short) and they will help with the pain. He told me its cause of the cotton fibers in the clothes people wear cause the fibers to get into the nerves of the skin and cause it to feel like small needles sometimes or just painful. He even suggested using butt butter from bicycle stores. Same principals i guess in both biking and in riding. Anways hope this helps on any long or short trips you might take.

PS get a valintine one if you speed.

went almost 120 throught the 410 highway :)

Happy riding all

Glad u made it all the way.  Never heard of the bank locking up ur account for using it at gas stations every 100 miles, but I guess I never filled up every 100 miles in 11 hours.

Also, Im not sure I believe the cotton fiber thing....

It's the old debit card bank scam.  When you swipe a bank debit card (even if the machine reads it as credit), it puts a hold on your card for the max amount they think you'll put in (usually $50-75).   Do that several times without a few thousand in your account and you can't use the card anymore that day, even though there is money there.

I use Discover and pay it off every month.  I get money back on it and you don't have to worry about the bank playing silly games.
