No pictures, sorry. It's a 1979 10th Anniversary Edition CB750K (i think the K is correct) complete bike minus  the LHS mirror with 11,000 miles. No signs of rash, but the forks are pitted/rusty. Otherwise, complete bike and the parts are 7/10 to 9/10 condition with the exception of just dirty and spotty rust on -some- of the chrome.

The engine oil was dark, but no water or metal that I could see.

Should I buy it for $100 and break it up, or auction it off on fleabay ?

There is no title, of course.

It'd be cool to see some pictures of it, just to get a better opinion on the bike. I don't know how big the market is for that bike as a collectors item, but if you can sell it restored for a few thousand dollars I'd say do that. If you part it out youre gonna lose the fact that it's an anniversary model.

the K model is pretty worthless, but if its a 750F, aka the supersport, it'll be worth a few bucks to part out.   I"d snag that thing up for $100,  replace the forks and fix er up.

750F parts are really hard to find, and I believe I recall people saying they'd pay a good bit for certain things.
looking for a new vehicle again.

k and f were the same sans tank and seat and some of the K's had comstars so you can't base much on that.

$100 is a good buy.  Offer $75.

Off the top of my head...

Exhaust, in good shape and origianl ~ $150 ~ $300
Tank with out rust ~ $50
Gauges ~ $50 ~ $150 depending on day
Rotors ~ $25 each
Shocks, if no leaks and original ~ $50
Motor with good compression ~ $200 ~ $300

Wiring harnesses, signal lights, headlights, handlebars, and fenders are also bick ticket items that can, on days, fetch retarded sums of money.

A cheap old bike can be a goldmine if you're willing to put the work and time into it.  Personally, if it's titled (titled frames run $50 ~ $300 ), I'd fix it and ride it.
