I dont know too much about it yet, I know when i took it into the gun shop to get the collapsing back stock the guy behind the counters chin about went though the counter... He said its very unique he has never seen a receiver like it. . Its a Bushmaster has collapsible stock, and a Leupold scope. Thats about what I know until my friend I bought it from gets back and tells me more about it  :icon_mrgreen:

I can tell you as of thismorning... its dead on accurate at 200 yards

What did I need it for ??? I love target shooting, I dont hunt at all. Also I was an SP in the USAF and havent had one of these to lug around for about 10 years  :icon_mrgreen:

the collapsible stock was initially made for armored troops so that the weapon could be easily stored in the vehicles.  it has become a favorite for close quarter, boarding party and some paratroops.  it is a useless piece of kit in the civilian world but very helpful for military and police.

It comes in VERY handy forshooting. Its adjustable so I can get a good line on the scope and still be tight on my shoulder... I LOVE IT :icon_mrgreen:

Nice. Waiting on my first NFA application to come back. Going to do a 10.5" short barrel AR, then I think I'll go ahead and do paper and get a supressor.

The black gun has lotsa applications in civilian life, defending ones self from zombie hordes comes to mind.

I'd like to buy a fully transferable mp5 but that's big bucks getting a pre 86 full auto runs about 15k.

thanks to all the gun control libs

Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

frankieG

why do you want one?  anyhow to mod one from semi to full auto is easy and only takes some basic tools.

If you have the suppressor permanently attached you should only have to do paperwork once as it becomes a part of the barrel and it's length is included in barrel length.  At least that's the way a buddy of mine that worked with ATF described it.

Not doing a permanantly attached can, if the combined length of the can and barral equals 16" or greater and it is permately attached than yes you only need one NFA stamp for the can. But I want a 10.5" short barrel rifle for gaming with. Some of the gun ranges here have shoot houses and do tactical rifle competition.

And I answered your question once frankie it's for defense against zombie hordes.

Full auto has some very specific requirements and on of those is that no auto weapon made post 1986 is eligible for transfer unless it is a dealer sample for dealer ownership only or it is to a law enforcement agency. I don't wish to be a FFL dealer, although it would be advantages since it would allow me to purchase post ban dealer samples which don't cost much more than the Semi-auto versions, and pre ban dealer samples may be retained and become fully transferable wepons if you have them in your posession if you give up your dealers license.

Conversion a wepon to full auto status is a federal felony, I have no desire to be on the wrong side of the table or to ever have my name and federal prosecutor mentioned in the same sentance.
