So would they have to be grinded down to be shorter? By the way Buudha, Im a vespa kinda guy. :thumb:

No. The larger diameter sleeve will not fit in the case without grinding some of the material from the case.

Here is what I had to grind to fit larger sleeves for 80mm pistons:

Quote: "Sounds interesting... would 4 valves per cylinder really make that much of a difference with an engine that small?"

Absolutely! A 600cc 4 cylinder sportbike has 150cc cylinders, much smaller than GS cylinders and as far as I know (which is not far!) they all use 4 valve heads. Part of the reason multi cylinder engines are more powerful than singles or twins is that the total valve area is greater for the same ccs. More small valves have more area than fewer big ones.

Want, yes.

Have the funds to pay for it, no.

Also for reliability and driveability and not having to make special custom parts ... GSXR 750 head, CC'ed to the same volume as the GS head.
And toss the 04+ oil pan on it, and route oil passages from the oil cooler line to the head cos the largest problem with the GSXR is external oil lines to the head. Muhahahahaha ... 100hp reliable, streetable GS here I come ...
Cool.
