While I was at physical rehab Friday, my guy (and owner) (from Holland) asked me to grab his throat (with my "good" hand/arm), chest, belt about 15 times as he demonstrated how to break my wrist, elbow, forearm, ribs, and throw me.........you know.........like any good physical therapist should do.......hahahahahahahahhaa. I suspect that he wants more income for his children to go to college since my therapy will end next week. That shaZam! hurts. I was doing "baby weights" on the pulleys and I guess he was bored! He's a good guy even though he is a young 44 year old rich smart ass punk.

Nope never heard of that style before, JKD and san-soo. the 2 styles I studied both teach alot of close contact techniques that cover what you described. In kids classes I taught shirt grab, shoulder grab and throat grab breaking techniques, the goal of which was to allow a child to break the hold of a much larger person and give them room to flee and seek help.

Is he trying to get you to sign up for classes?

No, I don't think he's trying to get me to join and I am waaaay too old to get slung and thrown around like a dish rag. It takes too long to heal !!!!:)

I don't train or teach anymore, hell it's been so long since I last had to fight that a wet paper sack would probably kick my ass now. Had 1 minor scuffle with a fella 3 years ago, he was panhandling at the gas staion and I told him no. Decided he wanted my money but wasn't man enough to take it. I honestly think a 3rd grader coulda kicked his ass, I got to see the security camera tape of it, he claimed I atttacked him  What seemed to me like  30 or 45 seconds was actually 6 seconds from the time he hit me till when he was laying on the ground with a broken arm dislocated shoulder and broken jaw with blood pouring out of his nose.

The DA took one look at the camera footage and said he didn't need me. Never did get called to court.
