Bike blown over?

Hurricane Ike reached its winds up into NC and blew over my 96 GS500.  Now the bike runs really rough, requiring at least half choke to keep it going.  I think the right brake lever is a bit bent and scratched but the engine guard did it's job and no damage to the engine.  I am relatively new to the bike and was wondering if anyone could steer me to finding the answer a bit mroe quickly.  I was thinking carbs, air filter, etc. but was wondering if damage to the right handlebar may have messed up the throttle linkage.  If one of these is the likely culprit, any guidance on the fix?

Anyone have any experience/guidance on this?

Thanks,

Jacob

I dont think anythign can happen if it just was on its side a few mins ... longer you may have oil in the chamber, so chasing it with gas via spark plug hole is one remedy.
Then you  prolly emptied the carbs ... prime can fill em ... if tank isn't empty, and battery acid draining off can kill a battery.
That should cover it.
Cool.
