Saw this posted on e-bay and thought id share. If I had the means, id have 2 sweet toys in my shed! Good ol' 2-stroke power, last of the imports. Can you say " POWERBAND". These things will pick the front up @ about 7500 rpm in 1st, then you still got 6500 rpms more to go! I guess i will have to settle for 1, they usually go for about $2500-5000 depending on condition.

Hell yeah i share that dream!

I've had banshees in the past and I would love to pull up to a light with that 2-stroke a cracklacking.

its pretty much the same engine although the rz/rd had a powervalve stock to help with the bottom end.

Dang those are only about 40 miles from me
Attack but have a back up plan

Those are sweet bikes! Too bad California hates two strokes...

RD and RZ are very different bikes essentially.  the motors arent even remotely close to the same, RD is air cooled, RZ is a heavier liquid cooled machine.    I have a buddy with like 6 RD250, 350 and 400's in his yard, three that run, and god knows how many parts.   believe me, they're VERY impressive machines.  when my buddy has his completely tuned up, I'm hoping to get an opportunity to ride the monster and see just HOW fast it really is, compared to my 600.
looking for a new vehicle again.

IF I COULD FRAME MY MIND---WHERE WOULD IT HANG ?
