God please tell me you are referring to his 'nothing to fear' Inaugural speech.........ya know........when he was inaugurated...........that was broadcast over radio............6 years before FDR appeared on TV.

Sorry guys, I was thinking of the correct speech, but the wrong president.  In 1929 when Hoover was giving his acceptance speech for the Republican party nomination he spoke of the economic issues of the great depression. 

Anyway, I didn't hear Biden say anything about it, but from what I have read since my last post, Biden and I must have made the wrong mistake.   I see what you are saying now Makenzie and I think she has already far exceeded the stupidity of a single mistaken historical reference.  The unfortunate reality is that she is probably a very intelligent woman, but when every waking moment is public knowledge, anyone could look ignorant.  That doesn't mean that I believe she is ready to be president, but I wouldn't want to be in her position.
