I have one in the shop here but I don't have a manual for it...it's a 1990 FZR600.  It has three plugs on the CDI and I'm trying to find out where the middle, round one goes.  It's left dangling and the bike is a no-starter.  No spark, but I think that's least of it's issues...

thanks fo the link, sledge, but that manual doesn't actually tell me where the mated plug is haha.

ohgood...what forum is he on?  I've asked on several of my regulars and have yet to find anyone who knows.

There's a guy on the Yamaha Radian forum (Yahoo group) who's like the Buddha.  You might try him at www.moto-lab.com  His name is Derek.

turns out it's the exup plug...would have nothing to do with a no-spark situation.

I'm going to call the guy and tell him that, even at what I charge per hour, getting the bike into decent running shape will exceed what it's worth.  It's filthy, the carburetors will need to be rebuilt, the engine has 40k and compression is 100lbs +/-, the wiring harness has been hacked and spliced...just diagnosing it will require me to completely pull what's left apart.  I'll post a pic of it later...it's a real basketcase...
