ok i had to buy a new motor because the first one spun a barring.  the new has 6000 mile and at first it wanted to run.  i got my carbs in sync.  it ran for about 15 min.  then it wouldn't  take the gas and had a rough idle.  now it won't start.   does any one have any opinion?

need more specifics...

but could be any of these... which I have randomly pulled out of my ass going on no information...
you also did put in a new motor so I'm assuming you're also not a n00b, but i'll throw all these out anyways...

no gas?
pinched/blocked fuel line?
vacuum prob?
fuel lines connected incorrectly?
tank mounted petcock still turned off?
stuck float?

did you kill the battery trying to start so much?

frig, I dunno if any of these are gonna help...need more info.

that's my bet, hope we're both right, and you have an easy fix :)
