06'-08' GSXR Exhaust on GS500?

Been looking through ebay and such and keep finding these stock, like-new, GSXR titanium (some not) exhausts that have a simple clamp-on design.





I REALLY think the first two would fit... but I REALLY like the 3rd 08' one best...

They're SO damn cheap... has anyone put one on the GS before? I think they'd look sick, but I don't know if there would be enough clearance between pegs/guards or if the bolt would line up with the mount...

I was so glad to see them put the duals on the new 1000...now I can finally finish my 1:24 Marauder IIc.

You'd have to adjust the mounting bracket...or do away with the pillion peg all together and add a new hanger

That's the other thing, I don't mind modifying the bracket or making a hanger to come off the pillion peg, but I ride 2 up sometimes and don't want to lose the pegs.

easy to do. HOEVER even with teh clamps, it wont fit snug on the stock midpipe. err teh gs piping. welding however works JUST fine

well using the 1k can. without the central muffler, its a bit louder than stock. kida burbly. to me, hell i like it. plus wiht my weld, when i had my wreck earlier it landed on it. ( you can see it in scratches on can, and kept frame off  ground. only damage was scratches on can, and front brake lever

Does it flow any better? I would guess the same. 500 vs 1/2 1000 exhaust?  Do you feel any restriction like stock?
