hi all, like the sounds of the yoshi and the jardine, but they're too expensive.

ive found that the gsxr 600/750/1000 mufflers are "all the same", and that they can be attached by welding a 3/4bolt flange on the end of the stock pipe and using the factory hanger.

What year GSXR mufflers are the BEST for this swap?
Also, does anyone sell the flanges or will i need to fab my own?

Thanks.

I used to make em ... but now I dont have numbers for it ... I need ~10-20 orders to get int these types of stuff.
Anyway ... make your own ... and yea the rest of the idea is pretty sound.
Cool.

I could give you a template for making a 4 bolt flange if you want to make your own up.

ya a template would help if you have a digital copy.

i'd really like to find out which gsxr mufflers fits best.

I have it saved as a pdf, I just to find where it is.

From memory mine is a 2000, 2002 can, I did move the mount on the hanger to the front from the rear. I have a set of SV650 rear pegs/ mounts on it now.

I used Leo Vince bolt on for 04-05 GSXR600/750. 4 bolt pattern. Flange was hand made from 5mm steel.
I had to cut the midpipe after the collector and rotate it a little to gain some brake clearance.
cheers
