I offered this to another member and after over a week never heard back... so it is up for grabs.

This is the last JamesG race tail I made. Same as the carbon fiber tails but made with fiberglass instead. It is a little heavier but not much. Never mounted.

Includes mounting hardware and instructions.

$120 + shipping

Geez, dgyver, seems like you always sell something cool when I haven't got a dime to spare... Good luck with the sale; sooner or later, you'll find a buyer for this. Someone will decide to build a racer, or tart up a street-only GS... and the day AFTER you sell it, thirty people will want to know if you still have it, or if you have another one for sale, or if you can make another one for them... and paint it to match their GS before you ship it.

Darrel,

Do you have a picture of the tail mounted on a bike and could it be shipped internationally?

dgyver

I can ship internationally. Not sure the cost but the box would be about 12x16x40 and weigh no more than 10 pounds.

Look up just a few threads and there's a sticky (a bit of a seriously outdated sticky, given that these are out of production) for "Rear Solo seats for sale by JamesG" with lots of details and pictures, albeit they were mostly done in carbon fiber - not that you'd notice much once the paint was on.
1990 GS500EL - with moderately-ugly paintjob.
1982 XJ650LJ -  off the road for slow repairs
