This is a dumb question but aside from jetting is there any carburettors that interchange with the gs or any other way to gain a little more power?  Please dont bash me too much im still fairly new at this upgrade stuff . :2guns: Thanks

folks won't bash you for wanting more power. ok, some will.

the later 3 circuit carbs are betterer, but don't actually make more power. they make -smoother- power, and smoother power in a 5 mile long traffic jam is what i want instead of more power. ;)


yes, you can bore the cylinders larger, or turbo charge it, or supercharge it, but that's really really expensive and troublesome stuff to do to an air cooled little twin.

the easy way ?

buy a bigger cc bike. the sv650 makes considerably more power, and has similar handling, better braking, better suspension, etc. - maybe take a look ? :)
