I found some cheap Oil Temp gauges and some not so cheap, that come with a sensor. My question is are there any ports or plugs that I can remove where I can put the sensor to have it work properly? ie. oil flowing over the sensor. I see a few different plugs that look like they have access to oiling like on the side of the cylinders, but doubt they are good candidates. however I have never worked internally on a GS before and dont want to rip apart my 07 just to see. So if there is anyone out there who can help it would be appreciated.

Oil temp  :o....its just something else to worry about. Ignorance is bliss, spend the cash on beer instead.

Well the gauge I found is only $20 and i ride pretty rough. OFTEN. And every once in a while I run up on traffic and have to stop or slow way down. And I can feel the heat. I know its air cooled, and a "tough" engine and all, But I like to know just for GP.

Hi Chanse,

There are things like this one I've got that are a direct swap in place of the OEM oil cap/dipstick.
Probably there are cheaper others around, especially in the US, but you get the point. :thumb:

Hope it helps :thumb:
