There is little we can do, but we're not impotent.

We can let our legislators know that they will pay for their lack of vision.  I let my Senator's office know that, since she voted to approve, that it is now her responsibility to enforce the banks to "do the right thing."  I sent a few articles stating evidence that the banks are taking the money and running.  And finally, I let her know that I will not be reelecting her if she does not immediately act to clean up the mess she created.  If every angry voter contacted their own Congressman and Senator letting them know that they Screwed Up, then MAYBE something would get done.  One voice may not do anything, but 1,000,000 voices can change the country.  Email your politicians.  Then tell everyone you know to email theirs.

A politician has only two concerns, getting elected and getting reelected.  Let them know that they've betrayed you and they will pay with their jobs.  If they refuse to clean up this mess, then work against their reelection.

Yeah.. Live in Oregon- basically the democrat always wins and there isn't anything that can be done because 10% geographically votes tree-hugging liberal and the other 90% have no voice at all. I'm sure the new super-majorities are working on raising my taxes as I type.

think that, on a national level. cept here in tn. its reversed. i fot f%&ked over by a liberal majority in state house. ( lost insurance coverage. have to self finance healthcare. maybe obama will fix?, i wont hold my breath. but hey if he does. anyhoo. idk what to think anymore. but look at it this way, remember how over 8 years no matter what, it was GWB's fault?, ( some of it deservedly so) well after jan 20 its all obamas fault . , see GWB got blamed for things, some of which happened under clintons watch, well, now obama can get blamed for things hapening under bush's and clintons watches  :icon_twisted:

Yeah I agree- the next decade is basically already screwed and I doubt any politician is gonna fix it. Like I said before Obama promised change- but he didn't say it would be for the better- though he isn't likely to get us in some BS war we shouldn't be in...
