thanksgiving

well, i made hotel reservations the other night finally for our thankgiving trip. i haven't seen my dad in eight years so we're going to see him and his wife/family.  they have not seen me since i got married and had kids. last they saw me i was a young punk just outta highschool. should be a good reunion.    oh, and if you're wondering my dad lives in Salina, Kansas.

8 years. man. enjoy the excursion ! it's cool when you finally have kids, and your parents can't hear/see you, but those grandbabies are heard/seen

i'm sure we'll have a good time. i just hope the weather is nice. we have parent/teacher conferences for my oldest(kindergarten) on the evening of the 25th. we plan on leaving shortly after that. according to mapquest it is a 13 hour drive. so that should put us there sometime wednesday morning. plan on leaving again sometime friday.
