Turn Signal/ Marker light Question

this may be a stupid question but i see so many bikes at night with their turn signal/marker lights on (solid not blinking) and on my gs that ive had for a few years now the front and the rear turn signals only light up when they're being used as turn signal. Is that because they're only turn signals  so thats when they should light up or are they also suppose to be marker lights?

They are only wired to signal turns - not set up to be marker lights as well.  That could be changed if you bought different lights somewhere and were willing to do some rewiring.

cool thanx for the info, i just got me thinking what if mine werent working cause it seems A LOT of bikes have them as turn/marker lights.
