PO took a Sawzall to the fender .. still kinda see the jagged plastic where the cut was made.
looks decent BUT .....

my back gets SOAKED when riding in the rain ... i mean not just from the raindrops from the sky ... it is like without the fender, the back tire channels water up and with the aerodynamics, the water is sprayed onto ur back like a firehose!!!!
this is on my '99 GS500E.

I know several people have mentioned the rain issues with a fenderectomy but I have never gotten any road spray with mine.  I guess my license plate catches it all.

REAP

Hey everyone, I've done this mod to my 07 GS500F. Used the stock turn signals and the use of the ugly fender and made something cool out of it. To make sure the lights dont fall out i made up a bracket which screws into the holes where the original stock signals were placed, this bracket cant be seen from any angle (sorry i dont have a picture of it), I then used some clear glue stuff to make sure they are snug in the new holes. A little bit of black paint on the glue and im all set to go, no problems have been found with this at all.

Hope you enjoy  :D
