I've got the stock pegs, but I cut the rubber off with a sharp blade. So there is one incision line on the bottom that runs the length of the rubber. When you put the rubber back on the peg, it doesn't go anywhere since it's sort of like a snap-fit (rubber retains it's shape well). If you were really worried about it, a little glue would do the trick. I did this with the thought of grinding my pegs down and re-coating them with thinner rubber, but I gave up and just got aftermarket pegs.

If interested, name your price.

Hi there,
I was just able to find a pair of these recently, finally, but in the meantime had also bought a complete left side rider's footpeg assembly on ebay.
I needed the left side more than the other, so when I found that one on ebay, I bought it.
Since then, I found a pair without the whole assembly.
I'd be happy to sell you the left peg assembly I bought on ebay for the $15 I paid for it, plus shipping.
Let me know if you are interested.
It includes the peg and rubber, the chrome heel protector and the triangle-shaped bracket that attaches the peg to the frame.
Thanks,
Trwhouse
