Killed the game? 

They have the stuff at Walmart, if you don't get caught in a stampede of trailer trash.  Santa hat, wooden dowels, brown fabric, your choice of adhesive, two cable clamps.  An hour to find the stuff, an hour to make it, and then ride around and make kids happy for as long as you want!


Two dowels about 2.5 ft long, two about 1 ft long.  Make a cross out of them, clamp it with zip-ties or whatever's strong enough, then cover it with fabric or just paint it.  If you wanna be awesome, make more "crosses".  Clamp it to your headlight brackets if you have an E model.  If an F, then you're on your own.  Just drive slow, and make sure you clamp it securely.
Santa hat: no need to make one if they don't sell one large enough.  Just get stick-and-peel velcro or something and stick that to your helmet up around the crown in the rear.  Stick the hat to it, then just let it hang down like a flap.  Kudos if you wanna do something better. 

No need to make something highway worthy, unless you want.  Just something to putt around in, so kids get a kick out of it.  It's kind of like a community service thing, you see.  If you don't want to do it, that's fine.  Previous winner should pick another topic.  Fine by me!

My E model is still in pieces, or I'd have this already.

I winterized today

Took a nice ride this morning in 30° weather. By nightfall, we've got an inch of snow and icy ass roads
I love the fall and winter. This is the first time I can remember that I'm hoping for spring to come early.
