A few double wide trailers for sale in Statesboro, Ga.

This is an RV park. Outside of the states it is known as a caravan park.

A trailer park has prefabricated homes that are put on site with the intentions of not moving the home again. An RV / Caravan Park is setup for the purpose of travel and recreation, not a permanent homestead.

Next Challenge:  Your bike at an antique store. Bonus if you have an antique sitting on the bike.

mister

Down here, the prefabbed buildings that sit and are not really intended to be moved are Also in caravan parks  - along with Permanent caravans. Most the prefabbed Only places around here are over 50s places but they are not called anything special other than XXX Community or some such. Hard to find a weekend/week only empty site in a caravan park here cause they are all filled by fixed-in-place prefabs or permanent caravans.

Thanks for clearing it up, Newb.  :thumb:

Here we go! I think I found a twistie road a few miles down the road time to go exploring! This day is too perfect a reminder why I live where I live!

Your bike near your town's Icon

example here in Kissimmee it would be the states tower (a tower made out of a piece of rock from each state) like this:

Time to ride! BTW who is winning?

Mary
2004 F, Fenderectomy, barends, gsxr-pegs, pro grip gel covers, 15th JT sprocket, stock decals gone, custom chain guard,GSXR integrated mirrors, flush mount signals, 150 rear tire, white rims, rebuilt top end, V&H Exhaust, Custom heel and chain guard (Adidasguy)

I'd be all over this, except the Tulip Festival traffic has already started and will be atrocious, not to mention that the tulips haven't bloomed yet.

shonole

I so want to get this tomorrow.   Here's hoping no one else gets it before then.

To my knowledge, we don't have a town icon exactly. Although Virginia Tech has tons of the Hokie birds with different designs all over Blacksburg. They look similar to this:

a few other designs: 1, 2, 3

If acceptable i'll get one tonight!
if yer binders ain't squeakin, you ain't tweakin!

bombsquad83

This is one of those challenges where I wouldn't mind letting it go for a while just to see what kind of stuff people have in their towns.

Toogoofy317

Hokie bird works LOL! Although it is a bit "hoakie" budum bum. but, yeah Bomb I'd love to see a few days to see it too. We have other wierd "icon" that make Kissimmee Kissimmee! Like the big sign that has a cow on it! Can you believe our city seal has a cow in the middle. Guess you can call us a literal "cow town"

Cows in Florida?  That's new to me.  I wouldn't be surprised if it were Wisconsin...but Florida?

adidasguy

Sea Cow on the beach in Florida?

Sorry - beached whale! :bs:

She's more a national mascot Adidasguy.  I'd still go there, but my tastes are best left to more special interest forums

Moving along, here's my attempt at a town icon.  You can have it with or without the bridge.

If that counts the next challenge shall be either

A.  The girl from Adidasguy's post riding pillion on your bike (bonus points for bikini)

B.  Your bike next to a flood sign.   The ones with the the markings on them that show the depth, often found at causeways.

Dang  :technical:  Its sunny today and I'm riding Thumper. Was going to get him at the beach with the space needle in the back. (I hope you lose 'cause I'm gonna take the picture anyway on my way to the gym.)

PS: I see you ave the taller Euro clip-ons. That answers the question of whether they were sold down under. Seems everywhere except the USA.

Are those stock adjustable forks or what?

Lol whatya want me to do?  I don't come from a small town that's famous for it's giant frying pan or whatever.  I was born and raised in inner city Sydney.  I do a lot of jobs in that funny looking building.

Edit- As far as I know the forks are stock, I can't remember seeing a GS without the preload adjuster at the top.  There's no dampening adjustment in either direction though, I just switched to 15W oil which helps a bit.

Cosimo_Zaretti

Anyway if you still want to go for a ride and win a challenge, track down the lady in your other post and get her to model for you.

Or just do it anyway.  I planned on doing mine tomorrow as well, since Mary said she didn't mind it going on for a few days.
