I can't even imagine the weird-ed out looks you'd get for driving INTO a swimming pool! :cookoo:

Nice job on the picture, and even better challenge! Those are the types of challenges we need to do, because it keeps the game moving and makes it fun for anyone to get. :thumb:

Does anyone have the list that was kicking around here of possible challenges for future? There were a couple of ideas like this one on that list and along with the lists of completed challenges I think they should be kept together so if someone is trying to come up with a new challenge and is stuck they have some ideas.

Maybe we could sticky this and also stick the lists of challenges at the beginning of the thread to keep it a little organized and easy to find for members? Just a suggestion.

Now to go get an ice-cream after work! :woohoo:
Save a horse, ride a bike!

I have seen the word 'challenge' many times in this thread.  I agree with Mister that we can't have things like "Your GS on the planet Mars", but let's keep things interesting every once in a while.  I mean, what's the fun in EVERYTHING being easy?
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...

A community college I was visiting was draining their diving/research pool for cleaning. It's a 0,0 entrance pool.

Next challenge,
Your bike with a 'swirl' (chocolate and vanilla) ice cream cone.

Far out - pool pic. But I gotta ask... how deep is the shallow end? Even the most shallow pools down our way are a good 2 feet deep which would make getting a bike in/out bloody difficult.

Formori: For a complete list of Challenges, see my sig line. It is in two lists due to the forum software not allowing posts longer than X number of characters. Also, te problem with list of Future Ideas is, people could go get them Now and then Wait for when someone goes with one on the list and then post the pic - which defeats the spirit of the game - to only get a pic After is has been posted as a challenge.

He says it's a zero entry pool. Basically a long ramp that mimics a beach (i.e., the water gets deeper the further you walk in).

Yeah it's a 0,0 entry and goes to full diving depth. You can see in the middle of the pic, there is a bump out, and then the degree angle decreases rapidly to the diving depth. I think he said it was 20ft at the diving end.

Thanks for all the kudos.

I can't believe they let you drive right into it.

Friend of a friend on the maintenance crew. I had to wash off my tires before I walked it down to make sure it wouldn't get dirty as they'd just cleaned it.

Nice...
someone needs to now photo shop some water back in. then people can say "fake picture", and you say, "but my bike really is in the pool, honest..."

Lordy, no one's got to get ice cream yet?  I might have to get on that here.  It's raining, but I could maybe get adventurous...

It doesnt have to be a GS. Just has to be your bike in the photo. Any brand of bike is fine. :thumb:

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.
