That would be a good challenge! The earliest I could get it would be at the end of the month... maybe... but I would try!

I like this game and I'm glad it's moving along... wish there were more people willing to play tho  :icon_confused:
Superbike bars, '04 GSXR headlight & cowl, DRZ signals, 1/2" fork brace, 'Busa fender, stainless exhaust & brake lines, belly pan, LED dash & brake bulbs, 140/80 rear hoop, F tail lens, SV650 shock, Bandit400 hugger, aluminum heel guards & pegs, fork preload adjusters, .75 SonicSprings, heated grips

Same! I'm working on it, though.

Ah I got one... a moody late afternoon in a wintery Brisvegas with the famous Wheel, in the b'ground.

edit: oh right, um...er.. how about Your Bike with a BMW R90s.

ShowBizWolf

Yay!!! Great picture... I love it  :D

And I'm glad to know other people are watching the game  :kiss3:

Been looking but this is a VERY hard challenge.  The R90s seems to be a very rare bike, and I'm not in the most motorcycle populated area, nor the most euro-friendly area either.  People around here ride Harleys or crotch-rockets...

Can we broaden the challenge?

@Watcher,

OK how about your bike with a live wild bird sitting on the seat in it's racing leathers. OK I was only joking about the racing leathers part.

Janx101

Live wild bird? .... you mean like a Harley chick? Bahahaha! ... don't know if they'd sit on a wee rice burner! ;)

user11235813

ha ha I didn't see that one coming, I saw the canary in a cage or stuffed animal coming but I forgot all about the swinging 60's and I lived through it.

Watcher

Well, it's been forever.

New challenge?

I was thinking about the picture game last week... it certainly has been a long time!!

I agree... anyone have a new challenge?

Agree, new challenge. Let's get a few more challenges done before the snow flies!

user11235813

Don't look at me, I posted two which were too much of a challenge, apparently. FFIW I hardly think a photo of your bike with a bird sitting on it was too taxing. Maybe it's time to quietly let this thread die. Or maybe not. I'll gift my previously hard won right to set the challenge to whoever gets here first with the next challenge.

Janx101

Righto... despite being unable easily to try doing one myself.   Bike no rego...

Your bike- silhouetted against the best sunrise/sunset skyline you can find!... cityscape/countryside/industrial/coastal. .. doesn't matter! .. silhouette and colorful sky! ... GO! :thumb:

YOU sit in your front yard with a camera ALL DAY staring at your bike on the off chance a sparrow lands on it for 2 seconds while simultaneously resisting the urge to ride or tinker with it at all.
Sorry, not doing it.  I've got work and other things going on, and I didn't buy a bike to look at it.

A lot of people don't seem to understand that the concept of this game is to get people RIDING!  Go out and explore your area looking for a way to complete the challenge.
Stuff you can do in your own home is rather spiritless, and stuff that requires rock-like patience defeats the purpose in my opinion...

Although I guess "baiting" the bike was always an option.  But then you gotta clean that nasty bird crap off of it afterward...

Oooooooh!  I've got mountains!  It's a race to the sunset then!

I have to kinda agree... that the bird one was really hard... I keep my bike inside out of the sun and elements... and when it is outside, I'm either riding it or it's sitting in the parking lot at work. I can't watch outside and hope for a bird to land on it while I'm working :icon_sad:

I also am aware that the game is *supposed* to be challenging...!! I totally get that...  :thumb: but I'm being honest when I say that the last two were basically impossible for me. Best chance I would have had to get the pic of the BMW would have been back in June when there's a huge rally in my town... other than that, bikes are not too numerous around here  :technical:

Just wanted to share a shot of the dramatic weather we're experiencing in Arizona.  It's a shot off my apartment balcony, and the reason I'm NOT in the mountains getting a sweet sunset photograph of my Buell.

Watcher, you live down in Tucson right? You guys get WAY more rain than we do up here in the Phoenix area. I rode in some wicked wind tonight, but no rain. I need to get my GS repaired, the V-star 650 is comfy but not "What I want" right now.

Come off it Wolfy, it would have been easier than getting a shot of a ferris wheel in the background unless there's one in your town. What I had in mind was that someone would have a pet cockatoo or some other interesting bird that would happily sit on the handlebars for a selfie. tbh the biggest challenge for me was trying to think up a challenge that wasn't too hard and wasn't too boring and also had not been already done.
