Well a Hawaiian BBQ might not have Moco loco anyway. Probably luau style food. Maybe you just can't get Moco loco on the mainland.

Well, when I googled Moco Loco and my zip code the local Hawaiian BBQ place came up, has some reviews mentioning it as well.

Awesome! You should try the Moco loco while you're there. That and the ono were the best local food I had while on our anniversary trip there.

Let's see your bike by a water tower, or at least within camera distance of.

Edit: NOPE!  :technical:

Ech!  I got "Mimi's" mixed up with "Mama's"!

That's gonna be a no go, failed attempt...

Also, looks like the Mama's is across town making that a proper adventure.  Perhaps I get that in the next day or two while I'm off work.

LoL. Well, hope you didn't go far out of your way for that! Seems like Hawaiian food is not popular around the GSTwins community.

This wouldn't be the first time I've had to adjust my picture challenge to make it reasonable for people to be able to do it. Maybe I should change it to "a place that serves salted crepes" and then you'd win!

Watcher

I did it!

I didn't try the food on account of my being broke as hell from paying rent and ordering a new exhaust.  Smelled good, though.

Anyway, new challenge is your bike near a water tower.

How's that?

Next challenge:

A view that you ride to regularly, where the view is the destination.

Like, not just some vista that's on the way to where you go, but a place you have ridden to often just so you can take in the view.

cbrfxr67

Lookin HOT over there Boiling here in HOuston,...It's gotta be cooking over there too.

Well, I went out at 9:00 this morning and it was kind of nice, it was 79 when I left the house and 83 when I got home after a 50 minute ride. The new perforated jacket was pretty awesome in this weather.

It'll be 103-105 high today. And that's horrible!

Houston is probably nearly as bad, but more humid, guessing.

Still having that weird issue where I can't see mr72s pictures most of the time.

Do you have a link to your album?

Edit:  I found it!  Bookmarked that shiz, so next time I can just navigate straight there to go "ah, yes, quite!"
You should consider adding a link to your album in your signature, unless you want to keep it more private than that.

Here's the image again in case anyone is also like me and has internet with selective vision.  It's definitely a different URL than what he posted, though.  Is anyone a web geek that can help us diagnose?

Also, riding to a destination vista is a great idea!  I have an exact one I go to just to take pics of my bike, and with the new exhaust on there I have the perfect excuse to grab a new photo.

Don't mind if I complete this one twice.

First is my personal destination, called Thimble Peak Vista.  This is a favorite spot of mine to take pics of my bike for desktop backgrounds or whatever.
Since mr72 completed my challenge with a selfie I couldn't resist doing the same.

Not sure why but it looks blurry to me when I view this thread.  If you notice the same thing, click on the photo and it'll bring you to my album, there it's crystal clear.

Of course, here is the view of the named "Thimble Peak"

And the second is a really common destination for rides.  Typically if someone says "lets ride the mountain" they really mean "lets ride to Windy Point Vista."
Of course, can't help but stop and take in the view before heading back down.

Here's a shot of the terrain.  That last little corner of the road you see down there at about the center of the photo is Thimble Peak Vista :P

For my challenge, lets see somewhere you have only gone by bike.
It could be a Burger King, if you've only been there on your motorcycle before.  Have you also gone there by car?  By bicycle?  On foot?  Doesn't count!

That's awesome, Watcher. I'd love to ride there.

I'm gonna stand down from the next challenge ... plus everywhere that I've only been on my moto is a long way away, and it's 102F out today, not gonna ride two hours for a picture.

HMU if you're ever in Tucson, I'll take you on a tour.

I was figuring it would be like "We always meet up at "____" coffee shop for rides but I've never gone there otherwise."

If this challenge is too hard I'll find a way to revise it.

That's a spankin view watcher!  I was trying to think of anywhere in Houston and,....nothing like that exists here!  Fantastic place for riding,...

that's because there are no hills in Houston.

<ducking!>

I guess I didn't consider that there might be a couple of specific addresses I have only stopped at on my motorcycle. But I'll wait for someone else to answer the challenge. And I seriously don't want to ride now. It's 104.

I seriously don't want to ride now. It's 104.

Was a high of 109° here.  I was hoping to get out a little earlier for my pics but I got caught up with some emails.  At 10am when I left the house it was already in the 90s.
It was only in the 80s at Windy Point, though.  The town at the peak is called "Summer Haven" for good reason, highs in the 70s.
I was wanting to go all the way up today but the extra hour round trip would mean I'd be back in town in the afternoon, and it was gonna be hot!

Seems we need a revision.  So lets go with the opposite!

Instead of a place you've only been by bike, how about a place, any place, that you've been, but not by bike yet?   :2guns:
