I have a 96 with a Vance and Hines exhaust and OEM air filter box.  The carbs have been rejetted for this setup, but if I put and a K and N lunch box is any rejetting required.  I looked at the chart on  wiki and wasn't quite sure.

Will I see much performance - MPG or HP with a lunch box or does it just make the bike sound bigger.  Is it worth the $35?

thanks

the lunch box is LOUDER, and it shouldn't change your MPG much, if any since you already have a big ole open V&H on there, rejetted, etc

the K&N is cool because it's re-usable, and LOUD (some like that kinda thing) but you really won't see any HP gains, and maybe 1-2 mpg loss because of the next rejet needed.

i have a K&N + V&H with 150 / 40, and it works nicely. the noise is more than you want for a 4 hour ride unless you use earplugs.
