your current gs (or whatever bike) has a trackbike engine, provided it's running and not leaking anything. you don't care about having 200HP, you care about saving your skin in a crash.

ANY BIKE can be a track bike. all you have to do is pay pay pay. the bike can be left stock, aside some safety wiring, tape, and whatever regulations the track has for fluids n stuff. :)

And the cheaper, the better.

Spend money on the suspension and brakes before the engine.  That's where a GS will make time.

Tang

any suggestions on the suspensions?

and brakes

oh yeah i need new tires first haha i feel mine slipping a little when i make sharp turns

what i really want is to go faster not really use on the track lol (i would go on track don't get me wrong but there aren't any in Charleston, SC) =(

but yeah i'd def. want better handling if ya'll have any good sets up let me know

i know ppl have done katana and sv rear shocks and katana front ends and maybe some old GSXR front front ends?

kat front end isn't to hard.
gsxr rear shock isn't bad eather

mich pilot power tires are sweet. and don't listen to that 3k mile crap i have about 2.5k on mine and they look new still

i was told to exspect less then 3k miles on them pishhhh im exspecting 5-6k now granted i don't ride the bike super hard all the time i was exspecting to get a flat spot in the center but they just don't wear out on a 300 pound bike
