won't start, help please...

Well, It was time to winterize... and first thing I did was add stabilizer and fill up the tank.

Unfortunately I did it in -10 deg weather and my bike wouldn't start when I wanted to circulate the stabilizer through the bike. My bike is a GS500F...

Since this is my first bike, I am not sure what the problem is, I think it might be the battery. Here are the symptoms: when I try to start I can hear it try to start the engine as usual but it struggles and stops. Then, as long as I am holding the starter button, I hear a clicking sound 'click click click...' around the battery area...

I know this is a weird description, but I hope someone can help with this...

The battery is dead.  The clicking you hear is the starter solenoid cycling.

First, take your battery out and check the electrolyte level in the cells.  Top it up with distilled water to the "full" line.

Then, charge the battery with a small charger at 1-5 amps until charged.  I like the little 1.5A Schumacher "Battery Companion" ~$20

Should start first try.

The Wal-Mart charger is also an automatic charger.  It comes with a short harness you can connect to the battery to maintain it during the winter.  It is handy if you wear heated gear.

Either one should work fine.
