Carb cleaner?

What kind of cleaner i need to clean my carbs?

Carb Cleaner.  Found in spray cans at Autozone, NAPA, Wal-Mart, the farm store, etc.   

Wear safety glasses when you use it.  Place the straw on the spray tip and spray though every orifice and passageway in the disassembled carbs to remove dirt or grit that might be trapped in there.

Thanks when i heard clean carbs i always thought toothbrush and warm water

Soapy water won't do the trick.  You need something with a little more bite.   

Be sure to read the label.  No smoking!

Lol i don't smoke but think if i did i'd hold off around the carbs anyway

About how long does it take to clean the carbs?

From start to finish for a first-timer with the service manual, I would hazard about 5-6 hours from removal to reinstallation. 

The Clymer's manual will guide you though the process step-by-step.

lol wow anyway yeah i got the online manual and started the other day and got side tracked with tank so i guess i know what i'm doing saturday bring it on carbeurators
