Rear brake suggestions?

I've never used those particular brake pads, so I can't advise you about how they perform, but I CAN provide some general advice about discount no-name motorcycle parts...

I'm not sure I'd trust cheap pads not to ruin a perfectly good rotor... You could contact the seller and ask him/her to identify the brand, though they might not be willing to do that. Rotors aren't cheap, so ask yourself how much recourse you'll have if those pads warp or otherwise damage your rotor. The seller MIGHT give you a refund for the pads (HIGHLY DOUBTFUL), but you'll probably have to replace the rotor at your own expense...

That seller ALSO charges a 20% restocking fee; it would only amount to about $3.20 for those pads, but buying them might be a classic case of FALSE ECONOMY. You'd buy them to save money, but they could end up costing you a pile in the long run.

If the seller won't provide you specific details about those pads, I'd suggest you pass on them and stick with the advice provided in the wiki:

http://wiki.gstwins.com/index.php?n=Upgrades.BrakePads

or some other brand known to work well with the stock GS rotor. You actually have a lot of choices for brake pads; Braking, SBS, Vesrah, EBC, and Galfer, to name a few. Your money, your choice; if it were MY money, I'd want brand-name parts that the manufacturer would stand behind. If you were buying something that wasn't critical to your safety, or a part that couldn't damage expensive components, my advice would be different, but brake pads are essential to the proper function of the motorcycle AND low-quality pads can do NASTY things to your EXPENSIVE brake rotor.

All thing considered, I'd suggest that you spend a little extra for high-quality brake pads, and leave the no-name stuff for others to experiment with. If it turns out that those no-name pads warp or gall brake rotors, you'll be glad you didn't buy them. We don't know the brand, so there is no way of knowing the quality just by seeing photos. You can buy quality pads for $20 to $30, so there is no good reason for you to become a potential victim of false economy.

Lastly, you can edit that Ebay link to make it MUCH shorter; simply replace everything in the URL that comes AFTER the word "ebaymotors" with this:

/1989-2010-SUZUKI-GS-500-500E-Rear-Brake-Pads-90-91-92-_/150625443471

and that will eliminate the clutter and trash Ebay inserts into the middle of the URL...

Hope this helps you; let us know what you decide to do.

Need to replace rear brakes. Any suggestions?

Not a suggestion, a question...

How many clicks did you get out of the current brake pads?
