brake question asap

I'm looking for the size of the banjo bolt on the brake caliper and resivoir for the front brakes. I have a -4 steel braided hose I wanna use for the brakes and I'm not shure if the threads are metric or standard if they are standard I can get the fitting from my work along with the hose. So can anyone tell me the thread pitch and size and if its pi0pe or straight thread.

I can guarantee you they're not standard. The whole bike is metric...

I know but we have a few metric fitting but not much but if I can get a standard thread that is fairly glose I can retap the caliper and MC

look on bikebandit at the schematics for the banjo bolts. it'll tell ya what thread pattern you need.

master cylinder banjo bolt:

UNION

caliper banjo bolt:

BOLT
473079-001      $3.54

I'd assume they are the same, but that'd make an ass of u and me.

Don't go re-tapping things to hastily... If you don't get a good thread, you'll trash your expensive caliper or resivoir.

I got a used MC I was going to retap that add the hose and put a gauge on the end with a bleed valve see if I cant get a lil pressure hold it then bleed the fluid off if I got no leaks than all is good. Im home now so I will need to wait for next year to get the stuff from work.
