Hello.
Anybody could put pictures and measurements of the tool that is used to extract shims? As the one used by Kerry Burton in his video. Thanks.

I tried both methods and IMHO the best bet is the purpose-built Motion-Pro (or whatever) shim tool. ;)
Using a screwdriver to press the shim down, you're likely to leave nasty marks and scratches on both the shim and the cam.
Ask me how I know... :icon_rolleyes:
A few weeks ago I did my second valve clearance check, and this time I had the shim tool at hand. Easy as pie. ;)
BTW, Jack's 2-screwdriver hint is a good one. ;)

Happy New Year, everyone :icon_mrgreen:

I made mine from a piece of steel using Kerry's photo.  I simply enlarged it until the scale in the photo was 1:1, then transferred the pattern onto a scrap of 1/8" mystery metal I had lying around.

Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?
