Your local FYE will be half empty, technically the seatbelts and door panels in cars will fall under the act........let's see what that does to Detroit.  The major retailers have already warned Hasbro and Mattel that their toys are coming back in early Feb, I wonder what having to refund for BILLIONS of dollars worth of toys will do to the price of new ones meeting the standard.

never underestimate the power of stupid people.  i myself donate quite a bit to goodwill etc having young children of my own. i buy my work pants at such stores, they're cheaper. this is really gonna suck. as if the econmy werent' bad enough eh? i hear all the time big shots in washington saying that small businesses are the backbone of the american economy. sounds like they found a way to break our own backs. now, i will give them the concept, i'm glad they want to make these things less toxic etc. i understand that, i applaud that. but i don't think this is the way to go about it.
