Removing Vinyls from Tank and Rear plastics.

Anybody ever do this? I have an 05 500F and I am doing an F to E swap. I want to remove vinyls from tank and tail plastics. Will a heat gun do the trick? Thanks.

The decals will easily come off the plastics. I just peeled them off and used Goo Gone to clean up the outlines of adhesive that were left behind. The tank...yes it is under the clear coat and I stripped the tank down to metal to get it off, but then again I was repainting the tank anyway.

vinyl on rear plastics is off and took about 3 minutes.... I'll let ya know how the tank goes.
