WTF ... jserio - back away from the coffee pot.
Coffee is to be made in an espresso machine in 4-6oz sizes and had with milk and sugar.
If you can stomach more than 1 cup in a 1 hour period you're doing it wrong. Heck, I'd say 1 cup before lunch.
Watery coffee well ... its for the spineless.
And do not even bring up the S word.

i don't have an expresso machine. so i'm stuck with folgers. hope i've not disgraced the coffee gods...

Not a problem. Heat the water in a microwave. Then drop a scoop of coffee grounds in it  stir it a few times and put an oven mitt over that carafe. It retains heat. Then 10 mins later pour it in the filter basket of your coffee machine with a filter of course. That will run into the carafe and it will be seriously strong. Its called the Toddy method. Very good. Seriously it should be strong enough that you only can drink 1 8oz cup made with 2-3 Oz of milk and 5-6 oz of coffee in a 4 hour period between breakfast and lunch.

But I'll be going all night probably. Yay law school. Buddha's method sounds toxic, but mild compared to cowboy coffee sludge I drink when camping. Boil some water, throw some grounds in, let steep, and drink that soup up. Browl that will put some hair on your chest, and everywhere else for that matter.

This is the cold method. I dont get bothered by the acidity so hot is fine, but it is a deeper extraction from the coffee because you are sitting it longer. It will get more flavors and more of the good stuff from coffee grounds.

Yea Kopi Luak is coffee beans fished out of cat shaZam!. When people say this stuff its the shaZam! man ... literally they mean that. Its extra funny, in Tamil Coffee is spelled and written an kopi or we say kapi. Indonesians are a similar origin to south Indians they even have ramayan and mahabharath with a twist. They call it kopi.

Monkey's picking tea, actually we really like fruits that a squirrel has started eating. We hide and wait till a squirrel starts to eat a quava fruit and as soon as it bites into it, we chase it away and we find it and eat that. That is the best fruit in the tree. Then eventually we let the squirrel eat. One time we did it so much that that squirrel made friends with us. It wont run till we get very very close to it. Bugger once ate almost 1/2 a fruit as we waved our hands and shook the tree. Aaaah the life ... robbing squirrels for our food.
