98 Stock Handlebars.....for free..you pay shipping

In an effort to improve my GSTwins Karma I have the stock 98 bars sitting around collecting dust and was wondering if anyone would like them.

Yes, I still am looking for bars. None of the others have been definite yet.
I'd definitely like them if you are giving them away and they are in good, undamaged and unbent condition.

Sry GS got a clogged fuel line last night and left me stranded on the highway, after I got it home I just went to bed.  When I get out of work I will grab the camera and uplaod them for you.  Sry about the delay.  But now I get to coat the tank and check the valves on Saturday.  Hooray for forced unplanned maint!

yeah, apparently my uncle went to vegas and "borrowed" my digi with all the pictures I took of my bike, so I ahad to get a buddy's.  Sry took so long, lol.

TR, I measured em and they are straight, the second pic is against a line in the driveway cause I can't seem to find my yardstick

Is this the best set of used bars I can find out there? Anyone else have some that are not damaged but don't have to be refinished?

i would just sand them down real good and then paint them black.  super easy fix and should look like new.

You have been looking for how long and now you find a set and you complain they are rough looking? lol  Yours must not be to bad then if you finally find what you need and might pass?

Sand and paint or sand and powdercoat.  The guys before me spray painted the bike flat black, and did a horrible job once you all see the pics.  They are straight, I guess that is all you can ask for.

It would most like cost you around $20 for a powdercoat if you know anyone in your area.

Hey, man, I really appreciate your offer for the bars, but I had also been talking to some other GStwinners on the board and found some that are inexpensive, in perfect shape and don't need to be repainted.
